The crosshead is the key part of the power unit of the mud pump. When the crosshead works, it slides in the upper and lower guide plate, and pushes the intermediate tie rod to transfer the power to the hydraulic end. One end of the crosshead is fixed with a middle pull rod, and the small end of the connecting rod is connected with the cross head pin in the cavity. Crosshead material is tensile strength greater than 600MPa ductile iron, to ensure its high strength and wear resistance. Metric cross heads differ only in screw holes. In order to ensure close contact, the contact area of the cross head conical taper and crosshead pin should be greater than 75%. The crosshead and crosshead guides are made of ASTM A48-83 cast iron, with good wear resistance and long service life. In addition to the F-500 pump is a guide tube structure, the mud pump adopts the upper and lower guide plate structure, and can be adjusted by adding gaskets at the lower guide plate to adjust concentricity. Between the crosshead and the middle pull rod is the pin hole coordination bolt connection. The rigid connection method guarantees the concentricity of the intermediate tie rod and the crosshead.
